I was raised Catholic and am no longer practicing but I can still appreciate the beauty and grandeur of St. Patrick's Cathedral. The cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic Revival architecture, and its interior is filled with stunning stained glass windows and intricate carvings. The cathedral is also home to a number of famous works of art, including the Pietà by Michelangelo. Even though I don't share the same beliefs as the cathedral's parishioners, I can still appreciate its beauty and its importance to the city of New York.
