Central Park Zoo. A little zoo with a big impact.

The Bronx Zoo is one of my favorite places but ithas a little sister that is also a nice place to visit. The zoo is part of the WCS family and entry is free with membership.  

It’s not a sprawling place like the one in The Bronx. It’s a great place to spend an hour or two and is more suitable for younger children. 

The zoo is inside Central Park and it’s easy to forget you are just steps away from Manhattan’s busy streets.
