Ferragosto is a festival which takes place in Italy in August but The Bronx held it's own version today. I live a quick bus ride from Arthur Avenue and always enjoy a visit to "The Real Little Italy" so the festival is just a bonus. Here are some of the photos I took this afternoon.
Sausage and Peppers, Wood Fired Pizza ,Just Fried Zeppole , Freshly Shucked Shellfish and that is just the tip of the culinary iceberg.It would be wonderful if I was able to share the aromas that go with these photos.
I am not a smoker but I find watching them making hand rolled cigars totally facinating.
