Mikes Miscellaneous Mondays: Jersey Strong

I took a trip to Atlantic City over the weekend and was delighted to see them fighting back from the hurricane. Talking to some of the hotel workers made me realize how lucky I was where I live in The Bronx. Many of them has either lost or had their homes severely damaged. The area around the casinos seemed to have escapes much of the physical damage but is clearly struggling economically. I have never seen a quieter Saturday night. But where there is a will there is a way and the people are fighting back. Jersey Strong is more than just a slogan.
